Galit, (Left) Zoe (Center) & Grace settled at Garfield & Prospect Park West to bagels from La Bagel Delight.
Seemingly pleased with their Saturday morning breakfast, Galit mentions, "They (La Bagel) compete with Bergen Bagels, but these are better, I think."
La Bagel offers take out specials: One dozen bagels with lox, cream cheese and OJ ($24.99) on weekends. If you can get to the shop on 7th Ave before six p.m. on weekdays, they offer a special of 1lb free Boar's Head cold cuts with purchase of a baker's dozen of bagels.
It's a lot of dense bread, but they freeze beautifully.
