Park Slope. It appeared that Maud was returning from the Outdoor Market at Grand Army Plaza as we were heading there. Pilgrim met his match: an equally energetic six-month old Boston Terrier. The proof is in the kiss.
A lovely Saturday morning, we headed out before the tropical storm set in. I picked out a few tomatoes, a few Portuguese peppers, green beans, and apple cider from a farm stand. Sadly my favorite bread vendor was down to the bones. I selected a few flat breads with eggplant, goat cheese, tomatoes and whole garlic cloves.
I completed my simple meal with a few treats from Blue Apron Foods: a cupcake with a sensual cocoa infused butter cream frosting, paprika salami and an Emmi latte.
