Waverly is a great little diner for classics and decent portions. The walls are dressed with photos of 1980's celebrities (I'm told it was the hot place during the time) an impressive supply of Carlo Rossi, thick cut desserts and muffins.

Among our choices: pancakes with fresh strawberries, spinach omelette, nova lox with onion and tomato on a bagel, corned beef and hash. The eggs came on platters with greasy hash browns and as in true deli style- a communal plate of buttered toast was placed before us.

Kate nibbled on a BLT, Cadence checked out folks on the street between her delightfully hap hazard eating process. She is such a peach, I simply adore her! Her favorite at Waverly: fresh squeezed orange juice.
