I recently revisited Haruki Murakami's After Dark. A novel that peaked my curiosity with more intensity the second time around. Admittedly, I plan to read it a third time in the next few months. While perusing listings to locate the name of a Midtown restaurant, I came across Mr. Putty's Flickr photostream. It's precisely as I envision the scene in After Dark: grey hues, a focus shock of color, urban. Meaningful lighting.
