It seems that restaurants in Park Slope are bustling then closed, then poof, open again- this time with a "II" at the end of their title. Los Pollitos II. Red Hot II ...Etc
On route to Downtown Brooklyn to run a few errands, we found ourselves slowed by a few margarita influenced bunny trails. The tail end of Lobo's five to seven p.m. happy hour ($3 Palm Drafts, $5 fresh juice margaritas) followed by Los Pollitos II's $4.95 margaritas until an impressive eleven p.m. A slight buzz coaxed us into sharing the Ceviche. An impressive pile of generosity: lime soaked quid, fish and prawns. If you like a more prominent tequila presence in your cocktail- go with Los Pollitos over Lobo. If it's heavily juiced tart dominating your cocktail- stick with Lobo.
Cheap. Nothing spectacular. Great service.
