Boka: I <3 you.

About a week ago- Vadim came home rambling on about Boka. On Monday he suggested we head to St. Marks for the wings. I agreed, then passed out. He was: destroyed. A few more mentions throughout the week and Sunday arrived...

We endured the 7 Jeans Warehouse Sale in Chelsea and found ourselves wandering towards Astor Place to run a few errands. "Boka!" pushed Vadim. "Let's do it." We took a table in the nook outside.

While sipping on a small carafe of Soju Lychee Cocktail, we mulled over the menu. Clearly: the Esquire recommended "Best Wings in NYC," were a given. We ordered them Hot and Spicy and decided fries (albeit less than healthy) would be better matched- than a sushi roll.

Crispy, tender, intricately textured exterior: Boka, how do you do it? The fries are incredible. Served with a Korean spiced sauce comparable to ketchup: spot on.

Oh there you are. The Medium Order- three legs and six wings: hot and spicy. Let me take you down this path of pleasures: crispy, buttery...a spice that asks that you savor. Take it in.

Tender meat- it leaves you wanting more. As we were pulling ourselves together from this ecstasy, the hostess updated the chalkboard: All You Can Eat Wings and Coors Light $23 per person during football games. I'm not that into Coors Light, but I'd drink it to eat a bottomless pile of this chicken.
