a lunch at Stone Street Tavern

We settled into a late lunch to recap the day's business. Having not tried Stone Street Tavern before, it only seemed appropriate. We decided to share a garden salad with house vinegarette and the Guinness battered fish and chips. The salad came in a larger portion than expected and heavily dressed in balsamic and crisp red onions. The fish and chips appeared excessively oily, but the moist and flaky protein satisfied the hunger pang. The fries seemed less inspired: steak cut and nothing special. They were most likely delivered frozen and ready to be dropped in oil.

I'd also like to note that the waitress was donning yoga pants, which let's be honest, are sweats. If you're not a trainer in a gym- you probably shouldn't show up to work in sweats.
