Julep: September Loves

Julep's September offerings laced me with anticipation! I've been keen to switch-up my facial cleansing ritual to more gentle formulas sourcing natural skin nourishing ingredients. I swapped out my usual Boho Glam profile for the Modern Beauty which included the Bare Face cleansing oil and Blank Canvas mattifying face primer. To boot, I selected the Konjac sponge as an add-on. My box arrived yesterday and I immediately headed to the bathroom to try Bare Face.

Bare Face:
The Rosehip seed enhanced cleansing oil  is not only gentle and effective in removing make-up and dirt, but left my sensitive skin supple and glowy.

Konjac sponge:
The sponge compliments the cleansing oil well, exfoliating with tenderness. A small and  strong suction cup hook is included to aid in drying and keeping the sponge clean after washing.

Blank Canvas:
I applied my usual serum and moisturizing regime, then Blank Canvas. The primer proved to be excellent in keeping powder in place.

I'm hooked on all products and tempted to stock-up in the (sad) event that Julep only keeps them in stock for a few seasons.

Julep Invisible Dry Shampoo

My sweet husband walks our Pug on weekday mornings, but the weekends are mine to allow him to sleep in before we head out for a run or do yoga. When I roll out of bed, I generally look a bit sloppy and manage to consistently bump into friends and acquaintances. Sunglasses are a good shield, but more effort is needed to mask my disheveled state!

Julep's Dry Clean Invisible Dry Shampoo is fantastic! I have very fine dark hair and typically don't do well with Dry Shampoo, but the spray is light and provides luscious volume! Sign up to be a Julep Maven for discounted items and free shipping!

Julep New York Jazz Trio

I'm not a lipstick person. I sporadically use lip gloss or lip butter, but I generally prefer to go nude. With that being said, I received a trio of mini lipsticks in my May Julep Maven Box, which I have fallen in love with! While all three apply beautifully, the ingenue of the bunch is Satin Doll (the coral-rouge huge in the middle). Purchase here.

Julep Instant Warming Foot Scrub

I was a wee bit skeptical to become a Julep Maven...I mean, where would I keep all of this nail polish I would be accumulating? I decided to give it a try, as I end up investing in my own bottles when a trend that appeals to me makes it's mark through the seasons. I received my first box from the Seattle-based company yesterday (two days after signing-up!). Along with two pretty colors tailored to my "Boho Chic,"  profile, my box included... drum roll...the most amazing foot scrub I have ever used! Despite the Instant Warming label, it was a bit of a surprise. I found myself hooked after 10 seconds! Click here to become a Maven! Perks include discounts on the Julep product line and free (and fast!) shipping.

Shades of Grey

I tend to wear a lot of grey - it's neutral, versatile and hides Pug hair:) The Shades of Grey nail polish set from Julep is lovely and will transition well-manicured paws through the seasons.
