Underwater Hotel

Dubai ups their cool factor with this underwater hotel, to be called the Water Discus. The luxury venue is slated to be surrounded by a coral reef and will feature 21 two-person rooms 10 meters below the surface.

Lightening Strikes Dubai: Often.

At first glance, I thought this spectacular photo of the Burj Dubai was a painting. The absurdly ostentatious building is the tallest in the world; and the word is that lightening strikes occur often- given that the storms aren't exactly a daily occurrence.
