Earlier in February: I expressed my affection for the amateur MGMT Kids video. Admittedly, I find the painted face of Rafael (last name unknown) to be incredibly sexy. It's something about his facial character. I did a little more research and turned up more on the girl in the video, Abby( photos above). She's gorgeous, no? I sort of have a crush on her too.

PS: she was born in Prague.

I can't seem to shake it: MGMT

Brilliant, from Brooklyn. MGMT is: New Order meets noise rock and psychedelic pop. The crew is a two man team: Ben Goldwasser and Andrew VanWyngarden. It started one morning when I was less than enthusiastically commuting to work- and my spirits were suddenly readjusted when Kids came on the track, ( from a mix of new tunes that Vadim updated on my IPod).

I googled them. Listened some more. Watched videos. Perused images. It's a bit of a crush now.

MGMT to get you pumped for the day.

Lesson learned: Fifth Floor walk-up, regardless of how many items you discard and all the furniture you leave behind--> is reason enough to pay some burly Italian guys from Bayridge to move your stuff. My legs are like Jell-O, my spirit broken and all my expensive French cookware and Kitchenaid mixer has been exiled to storage in the Grinberg's basement.

Ergo, I give you, (and me): Kids, by MGMT. It's the soundtrack to my Monday. It could be yours too. The video alone inspires...
