We did our first tree (it's more of a little bush...) this year. The cost of ornaments adds up, when you're starting from scratch. I love this DIY glitter-dusted project which calls for three simple pieces: glass bulbs, hairspray and glitter. These would certainly fill out your tree and would be a fun project to do with kids!
