Pieces of Our Weekend

We kicked off our weekend with friends, oysters and wine on Stone Street! The next morning, we piled into a Zip Car and drove to Baltimore for a wedding. Before the ceremony began, we putzed around the Inner Harbor.

We were pleased to learn that Babe Ruth was married in the same church as the couple! Following the exchanging of vows, we joined a group in the hotel for a cocktail before heading to Tabrizi's for the reception.  The marina venue is simple, charming and spot on for a warm September celebration. We nibbled on passed hors d'oeuvres, sipped cava and headed inside for a dinner of steak and chicken stuffed with crab.

We danced and sang until we were kicked out, then decided to have a night cap at the hotel bar (where the Ravens were camped out for the game the next morning!)

Our ride home was (freakishly) as smooth as our trip out: just three hours with absolutely no traffic. We enjoyed brunch while watching the game, then headed over to Ground Zero with Pilgrim, to check out the memorial.
