lunch at Libertine


I've spoken my praises for Libertine, but I must share further: lunch is a must, if you're in the Financial District. Each entree comes with a beverage: soft drink, wine (house red, white or rose) or house beer (Stella). We selected the slider trio of rare Ahi tuna, Salmon and Shrimp cake ($11) and the truffled mac n' cheese ($11).


The sliders were light and plump on little brioche buns with thin herbed fries. The mac- divine! You really cannot go wrong with truffled creamy and rich pasta, as well the crispy bread crumb crust punctuates each bite.
