Yesterday the sunrise was red or magenta: depending on how you interpret. I asked Vadim, "What does that mean again? That it's going to be warm?"

It's hazy in the city. It feels like the first hint of Summer in the City. Sweltering, humid. It's gross, I know. The scent of Summer Subway: urine, garbage juice...roaches. But: I'm anxious for it. To eat lunch in Bryant Park, not worry about stockings...block parties!
