Baby Gorilla Rescued

I came across a heartwarming (and breaking) story of a baby gorilla that was recently rescued by sting operation in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Black market gorilla buyers take the babies, often killing the parents in the process, and sell them for tens of thousands of dollars. This little guy was quite scared at first, but is now warming up to the veterinarians.

The cuties are relocated to GRACE gorilla orphan sanctuary after being given a clear bill of health. Don't you want to give this guy a cuddle? Read more at National Geographic.

Check out the video of his examination...

Doggelganger

Hey fellow dog lovers! Doggelganger is a face-recognition website that matches you to your doggelganger from their database of pups that need forever homes. Molly is 67% me...and appropriately a Pug mix. I wish I could bring her to New York to live with us and our little Pilgrim.
