breaking the fast at COLSON PATISSERIE

In an attempt to fight the threatening side affects of Benadryl, I opted for an espresso instead of street coffee. It'd been a few months since I stepped through the doors at Belgian Patisserie, Colson- making it a worthy detour. I ordered a cappuccino and a chocolate brioche on recommendation of the gray tee shirt dress donning barista. Crafted in house, the Brioche is generous enough to share, moist and delightfully eggy. The coffee is not as robust as other neighborhood favorites: Cafe Regular & Naidres, but good. At five dollars, not bad for breakfast. Colson offers cafe style lunch and dinner with wine and beer as well. It's consistently flowing with patrons.
