As reported in BBC and Africa News online, more than half of babies born in the Kisumu Hospital yesterday were named after president elect Barrack Obama, or his wife Michelle. The Kisumu Village is adjacent to the birthplace of Obama's father. The naming trend extended to the Nyanza Pronvincial hospital where five baby born were named Obama.
