Racial Segregation in New York City


Each dot represents twenty-five people: Red- White, Blue-Black, Green- Asian and Orange is Hispanic. There's a pretty strong White population throughout Manhattan and on the west side of Prospect Park in Brooklyn. Asians and Hispanics have lower Manhattan and most of Queens, and Black have northern Manhattan and the eastern parts of Brooklyn. The four-ethnicity blanket still casts an umbrella over several cultures, but there aren't enough colors to demonstrate! Read more here.
