Beginning in January, LA Gang Tours will open up the grittiest parts of Los Angeles. The non-profit aims to shed light on the birth place of notorious gangs such as the Bloods, Crips and Florencia 13. The goal of the program is to showcase the grittiest parts of the city including decaying public housing, sites of shoot-outs and racial injustice. Through this effort, there is hope that the tours will be a catalyst in improving conditions for those living and struggling in the cradle of gang culture.
