Charlotte Dumas is featuring her Shelter Dogs series as a part of the Dutch Seen exhibit at the Museum of the City of New York. I am a bit anxious to check out the showing with celebrates 400 years after the beginning of New York. Contemporary Dutch photographers have been invited to put together their images of New York as they see it today.
The Shelter Dogs is of particular interest to me as I find it troubling, but also gorgeous and wrapped in the emotions of the dog's expressions.
