BBQ Invitations

It's that time of year: Independence day approaching, temperatures rising! Summer is in full swing in New York City and we haven't had a proper BBQ in a few months. While my husband tends to send everything electronically, I enjoy snail mail cards occasionally. Aren't these BBQ + Beer invites great? Pieces of our Weekend

What did you get into this weekend? We packed up our Pug and hopped on the LIRR to spend a few toasty afternoons on the beaches of the Hamptons.

I love the dining scene in Long Island! We sipped delicious key lime pie martinis at Rumba, then caught a little boat for delicious seafood dinner at Cowfish (come prepared to wait a few hours for a table!). I can't wait to go back for more sea air, fresh seafood and laughs with friends.

Mirenesse Glossy Kiss

Red lipstick is a product  that I've never really felt confident wearing. It's a little too dramtic for day-to- day and I'm generally laid back on weekends!

Live Color Fully

We're back from the Baltic! It's been a wee bit hectic catching up with home and work tasks! I hope to  carve out time to go through and post my photos on Flickr soon!

A bit of the -status quo: chaos- is derived from my office undergoing a massive real estate re-stack of cubicles. I came in this morning to a larger cube (it's the Hamptons mansion of cubicles!) with a stunning view of Midtown Manhattan (why yes of course I can see the Empire State Building, City Hall and the Chrysler Building!). Albeit spacious with a lust-worthy view, I miss girlfriends from my previous location. I could use a little reminder of cheer. How about this paperweight from Kate Spade?
